On Performing...
Singing is one of the best forms of communication if we honor its power of storytelling. This requires us to be bold and vulnerable with ourselves and audiences, it can truly be one of the most human connections possible. Emotion through song stays in our minds, hearts, and memories way after the performance and we are often changed by living in those raw moments. We are much more than the song, much more than our art, and much more than we imagine. May we always endeavor to be open to the music we make in living.
